An apostille can only be issued in the country where the document was issued. For a document from Greece that means Greece’s designated authority; no other country can apostille it. We coordinate the submission in Greece, the notary reviews your application first, and the document is returned with the apostille – by courier or, where Greece issues electronic apostilles, as a verified PDF.
Typical requests from Greece concern property, inheritance and pensions. EU member: civil-status documents are exempt and some bilateral treaties go further; Greek translations by a lawyer or the official translation service are still required.
