Subsidiaries & branches
Registering a subsidiary, branch or representative office abroad.
Opening a subsidiary, a bank account or a customs registration abroad starts with proof that your company exists. The register extract counts only as a certified document with an apostille – the plain online PDF is not enough.
Let us get this done for you
Company registers are public authorities: the registry court in Germany, Companies House in the UK, the Secretary of State in the US, the greffe du tribunal de commerce in France, the Registro Mercantil in Spain, the chamber of commerce in Italy, the Netherlands or Colombia, the ticaret sicil müdürlüğü in Türkiye. For use abroad the extract must be a certified document with the register’s seal or signature; it is then apostilled by the designated authority of that country.
Recipients abroad – company registries, banks, customs, tax offices, tender authorities – normally want a recent extract, often issued within the last three months, together with a sworn translation. We order the certified extract, obtain the apostille and the translation, and ship the set by express courier.
Inside the EU, company documents lose the apostille requirement from 31 July 2028 under Directive (EU) 2025/25; until then EU registries may still ask for one, and non-EU destinations will continue to require it.
