An apostille can only be issued in the country where the document was issued. For a document from Vanuatu that means Vanuatu’s designated authority; no other country can apostille it. We coordinate the submission in Vanuatu, the notary reviews your application first, and the document is returned with the apostille – by courier or, where Vanuatu issues electronic apostilles, as a verified PDF.

Typical requests from Vanuatu concern corporate and citizenship matters. English documents are accepted.

Authority fee: Single sided page document US$50; Double sided page document US$100; and per copy certificate US$25 (Apostille of identical document/same issuing authority) (official fee, passed through 1:1 in your quote)

Where an apostille from Vanuatu is not enough

No Contracting State has an objection in force against Vanuatu: the apostille is accepted in every other Convention country. Non-Convention countries (UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Iraq …) still require consular legalisation.
