An apostille can only be issued in the country where the document was issued. For a document from Uruguay that means Uruguay’s designated authority; no other country can apostille it. We coordinate the submission in Uruguay, the notary reviews your application first, and the document is returned with the apostille – by courier or, where Uruguay issues electronic apostilles, as a verified PDF.

Typical requests from Uruguay concern residence, property and citizenship. Uruguay issues electronic apostilles; Spanish translations by a public translator are required.

Where an apostille from Uruguay is not enough
