An apostille can only be issued in the country where the document was issued. For a document from Guatemala that means Guatemala’s designated authority; no other country can apostille it. We coordinate the submission in Guatemala, the notary reviews your application first, and the document is returned with the apostille – by courier or, where Guatemala issues electronic apostilles, as a verified PDF.

Typical requests from Guatemala concern adoption, family and business matters. Spanish translations by a sworn translator in Guatemala are required.

Authority fee: Apostille is free of charge (only Q.10.00 stamp tax must be covered) (official fee, passed through 1:1 in your quote)

Where an apostille from Guatemala is not enough
