University admission abroad
Undergraduate applications to the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands and Türkiye.
Applying to a university abroad with a high-school diploma from another country? Admissions offices and visa authorities usually want the certificate apostilled – and often translated.
Let us get this done for you
School certificates – high-school diploma, Abitur, baccalauréat, bachillerato, maturità, lise diploması – are documents of the school and, behind it, of the state education authority. For use abroad they need an apostille from the issuing country, in many states after the education authority confirms the head teacher’s signature.
The most common trigger is university admission: applicants send apostilled school certificates, and student-visa applications repeat the requirement. Employers in the Gulf sometimes ask for the school certificate in addition to the degree.
We collect the certificate, obtain the pre-certification from the school authority where required, submit it for the apostille and add a sworn translation where the university requires it.
Also known as: Abiturzeugnis / Schulzeugnis (DE) · baccalauréat / diplôme scolaire (FR) · título de bachiller (ES) · diploma di maturità (IT) · certificado de conclusão do ensino médio (PT) · lise diploması (TR) · świadectwo maturalne (PL) · vwo/havo-diploma (NL)
An apostille is always issued in the country that issued the document. The most frequent issuing countries for a school-leaving certificate:

| United States | University registrar (notarised copy or registrar’s signature) | Secretary of State of the state where the notary or registrar is commissionedMost states require a notarised copy of the diploma or a notarised registrar statement first. |
| United Kingdom | University / awarding body | FCDO after certification of the document or a copy by a UK solicitor or notaryFCDO does not apostille degree certificates directly – a solicitor certifies first. |

Apostille, EU exemption or embassy legalisation – the answer per destination.
No. Schools can issue certified copies but the apostille comes from the designated authority of the country after the education authority confirms the signature. We coordinate both steps.
The school or the education authority can issue a replacement certificate or certified copy, which can then be apostilled. We handle the request with your authorisation.
The UK is a Convention party independent of EU rules, so apostilles are the standard in both directions. Whether a particular university insists on it varies – we ask for you if you are unsure.
Upload a scan, verify with your phone – the notary reviews the application, we handle authority, translation and delivery.
